Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area
9/26/2025 A headland, formed by ancient lava flows, extending into the Pacific Ocean and the site of the Yaquina Head Light.
We parked at the lighthouse area for more fantastic views up and down the coast, at the foot of the lighthouse. We spent some extra time here,
not just for the views, but because we could see whales surfacing in the distance. Trying to catch one on video was a challenge!
