Colorado National Monument

7/30/1994 Drove through Colorado National Monument along the rim of a plateau towering over the river valley, again with many beautiful and amazing formations (balancing rocks, spires, walls, etc.)

9/24/1983 Drove to Florissant National Park [Monument], took short trail through park.

Yucca House National Monument

5/25/2007 Went a bit south onto farm roads (dirt) again, literally to a guys driveway (he was working on the sprinkler). This is the “site” of the Yucca House NM. Walking through a couple gates and across a little field, one arrives at the mostly buried mound of unexcavated Indian ruins. Other than a few photos, not much to do so back on the road south.
