Wekiva Wild & Scenic River

4/8/2009 Drove north a ways to Wekiwa Springs SP. The very pretty springs here form the headwaters of the Wekiva NWSR. Took a very nice stroll around the springs, across a bridge to the canoe/kayak area and watched them, took the Wet to Dry Trail through the marshy area with palmettos, etc. to the sandy dry area with pines, etc., checked out the little nature center. Very nice place on an enjoyable day.
