Harry S Truman National Historic Site
5/20/2000 … then continued to Visitor Center for Harry Truman NHS [Harry S Truman Historic District].
Saw a brief slide show, then drove up to the house. Took a tour of the home that Bess Truman lived in all her life and that the
Trumans lived in while not in D.C. Went a short ways to the Truman Library and saw the graves of the Trumans in the courtyard.

5/31/2019 Harry S Truman NHS. This was the home of Truman from the time of his marriage to Bess Wallace
on in 1919, until his death in 1972 Although it was too late to get in, we did our photos outside, it looking very much like it
was when I was here last 19 years ago.

5/26/2021 Truman Farm Home NHL, also a unit of the Harry S Truman NHS and, of course, a Presidential site -
triple banger! Built in 1894 by Truman's maternal grandmother, he gave up his $100 a month bank salary to go work on the family farm in 1906.
