Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area
9/6/2009 Morristown National Historical Park
6/2/2012 … back again to Princeton Battlefield SP. This is an NHL and also in the Crossroads of the
American Revolution NHA. We walked up to the Clark House, which was built in 1772 and to which, during the battle, the
mortally wounded Hugh Mercer was brought. We then walked over to the colonnade, originally part of Mathew Newkirk’s home
in Philadelphia, and in 1900 transported to Princeton, and became the entrance of the Mercer Manor, which formerly stood
on the east side of the Battlefield.

Mercer Manor, which formerly stood on the east side of the Battlefield. We then went up to near the Clark House, which was built
