3/27/1999 Continued on back roads to Mauricetown and looked at the Maurice River (NPS).

Musconetcong Wild & Scenic River

7/20/2009 … then to Saxton Falls in Allamuchy SP. These falls, at the site of a canal and locks, is at the northern end of the Musconetcong WSR. Checked out the area and walked along the river a little, then went downstream (in the car) a few miles to a bridge in a preserve to check out the river again. There was a lone fisherman and some kayakers running the shallow rapids.
