Moores Creek National Battlefield

11/16/2006 Continued to Moore’s Creek NB. Saw a very good film on the brief one-sided battle between Patriots and Loyalists in February 1776, and some exhibits, then walked the very nice trail (rain had stopped). Walked on a boardwalk through the swamp then across the reconstructed Moores Creek Bridge. Also saw monuments, field weapons and a short trail on long leaf pine and ship tar industry.
