5/27/2016 Fort Necessity National Battlefield (also in the Path of Progress NHA). Here we checked out the visitors center displays, and walked down to the reconstruction of the simple and surprisingly small stockade, the site of one of the first battles of the French and Indian War and George Washington's only military surrender.
