Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site

10/3/1997 ... then to Historic Camden [NPS]. This is the site of an old town, during the revolution it was surrounded by a stockade and defensive redoubts. A big old house nearby was surrounded by its own stockade and used by Cornwallis as a headquarters. We walked around the few houses grouped here, including two 18th century cabins which had museum exhibits. We also walked around to some of the redoubts and munitions area.
