National Historical Parks - Vermont
Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
7/19/2004 ... to Woodstock, VT and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Site.
Visited the Marsh-Billings farm, got apple and chips for “lunch”, walked around the farm buildings. Saw the
dairy equipment shown on “Home Again” with Bob Vila. Very good museum of farm equipment, and saw barns with
dairy cows and draft horses up close (horse over 2000 pounds!). Nice farm with sheep and cows. Walked over to
the NHS side and went to the Carriage House visitor center to see exhibits on the three men who championed
conservation and the farm economy.
