Jamestown National Historic Site
5/11/1996 Drove from Norfolk to Jamestown and the National Historic Site [part of Colonial NHP]. Interesting and fun place.
Saw ruins of some of the 1607 buildings, current archeological excavations, monuments to Pocahontas and John Smith, a 17th century ship (recreated)
sailing offshore. Extremely windy here!
