Grand Teton National Park

9/9/1985 On to Grand Tetons - stops at Moose Village (Menor's Ferry and Chapel of the Transfiguration), views of Grand Teton, boat across Jenny Lake and then hike to Hidden Falls, boat back. Picnic lunch at Jenny Lake. Stop at Jackson Lake for snacks after scenic view stops on our way north. Stayed the night in 2-bedroom cabin (painted headboards on log walls) in Colter Bay Village in Grand Teton Park. Drinks and dinner in the John Colter Bar, Grill and Chuckwagon Restaurant.

5/30/1995 Into Grand Tetons National Park. Absolutely magnificent views - still a lot of snow in the mountains (quite a bit on the way to Jackson, too). Beautiful views at Jenny Lake. Stopped at String Lake for a nice picnic lunch, and walked a little. Also made a tiny snowman here. Continued north through the park, with spectacular views everywhere.
