Birthplace
Birthplace: Grace–New Haven Community Hospital, 20 York Street, New Haven, CT
Visited: 5/5/13
Log Excerpt: "Back in the car and drove to Yale-New Haven Hospital. ... walked one extra block to the hospital, which was essentially the birthplace of George W Bush. Apparently the Grace Hospital, where he was born, is no longer standing, but had been absorbed into what is now Yale-New Haven. We went inside to take a look at the very nice atrium waiting area."

Log Excerpt: "Drove downtown and parked at the Capitol. Walked to the adjacent Governor’s Mansion NHL (and onetime George Bush home). The 1854 Greek-Revival home for the Governor of Texas was designed by prominent architect Abner Cook, and has been the home of every governor since 1856. The mansion is the oldest continuously inhabited house in Texas and fourth oldest governor's mansion in the United States that has been continuously occupied by a chief executive. Just a photo-op here ..."
Home
Home: 10141 Daria Place, Dallas, TX
Visited: 4/14/18
Log Excerpt: "Continuing north we made the last long leg into Dallas. Knowing it was a long shot, we went to the area of one of George Bush’s current homes in a surprisingly modest neighborhood. Sure enough, the best we could do was to drive by the closed front gate of the gated community for a quick photo. We did see a large SUV which Ken thought was a little too interested in us and the area to be a coincidence."
