Home: Stonum, 900 Washington Avenue, New Castle, DE

Visited: 9/19/2014

Log Excerpt: "Back in the car we drove a short way to Stonum NHL. This is the home of George Read, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, his advocacy having enabled Delaware to become the first state ratifying the declaration. This private home is totally surrounded by thick shrubs, so I poked my camera through for poor pictures."
